I’ve been reading Tarot for 30 years, since high school. I own many decks. And, I love this deck as a stand-alone deck, and for the way it informs my comprehension of traditional Tarot. This deck is SO accurate and insightful. The artwork is beautiful and inclusive. The book and guidance is always just what I need. This deck sits on my altar now. Brilliant work.

The card size is the same as the original version. It's just the box and book that are smaller. It's a much better presentation in my opinion - but the tarot bag that comes with the original version is a nice touch too. The actual deck is beautiful. The only drawback is that the major arcana is numbered backwards which makes the deck quite confusing to navigate if you're used to the RWS system. If you put the effort in though, I'm sure it gets easier to use. At the moment for me, it's quite a clunky read unless I take my mind off of it being a tarot deck and treat it like an oracle deck.

I am absolutely in love with this deck. The artwork and guidebook go so well together, and my whole family is enjoying it. I deducted one star because I have tiny hands are the cards are just too bog to shuffle.

This is a beautiful tarot set firstly. However there is another version of this set that comes in a slightly bigger and nicer box, with a nice cloth sack and a sizeable accompanying guide. This is the smaller version, as far as I know there aren't many differences but I wanted the other one. Just want to make it clear to any other potential buyer who are confused about the two versions of this tarot set. (Anyways, I returned this one and bough the other one)

Even when this deck arrived I knew something special was on my door step. I brought the packsge in but didn't open it. I let it sit and feel at home. When I did open the box I didn't even look at the cards. I immediately put them in a bag and tucked t hem under my pillow. They know me; I'm learning them.
