The deck is very beautiful, but cards are very thin, which doesn't really bother me. What bothers me is that the cards are differently cut! Some cards are different from the others! Although difference is really small, up to 1mm, but it is tangible, especially when shuffling the deck.
I love storytelling and learning stories but this oracle deck experience wasn’t what I’d hoped. Usually I’m good at threading a narrative together but feel that a substantial amount of research is needed in order to be able to make full use of these cards. I absolutely love the idea of them and hope to revisit once I understand the individual stories so I can understand the meanings better.
It’s good but not my favourite. My grumbles are… the cards are big for a tarot deck, the images don’t really tell the story so without the guide book it’s not the easiest to read. That being said, the card stock is great and shuffles well, the guidebook has a lot of great stories and does go into depth even if it doesn’t match up to some of the nuances of the traditional tarot meanings. I probably won’t use this deck for clients but I’ll use it for fun and learn new stories from different cultures.
