Known as the Nostradamus of the North, his predictions have proved uncannily accurate for his country. But he lived in an age of witch hunts when anyone dabbling in the occult faced a terrible retribution from the authorities. Such was the fate that eventually befell the Brahan Seer, though not before he was able to exercise his eerie gift in cryptic pronouncements.
